Family Photo Sessions in Kent

A Kent Family Photographer from Tunbridge Wells.

An outdoor photography session can take place at a location of your choice -somewhere you can relax and have fun and where kids can be free to run around.

You don’t need to worry about whether or not your children will cooperate during your photoshoot – it’s about taking time out of your busy, day to day lives and spending quality time together, while I create a memorable experience for you all.

There are no expectations when photographing families with small children – the best way to capture them is to let them be themselves and the smiles will come naturally.

I welcome silly faces too!

Questions?

I want you to feel excited about your family photo shoot and not have to worry about anything, like what to wear. That is why, when you book your session, I will send you a guide on what to wear and certain things to avoid.

I won’t ask you to wear anything that does not fit your usual style. I want you to feel comfortable and confident in what you are wearing.

Early morning or late afternoon (the “golden hour”) provides the best natural light.
Indoor shoots may depend more on natural light or indoor lighting setups.

Bring snacks and favorite toys to keep them entertained.

Keep the atmosphere light and playful so kids enjoy the experience.

Avoid scheduling right before naptime or during meals.

Yes, absolutely! Your dog is a much loved part of the family, so you should definitley bring them along.

All I ask is that, if you are bringing them to the studio, take them for a walk beforehand to ensure that they are comfortable during the photoshoot.

Sarah’s studio is just by the Pantiles and was warm and welcoming with lots of space to all get changed and ready. She had a beautiful Wintery background display, oodles of props and the patience of a saint! My little boy was super excited and a typical toddler – Sarah just smiled and took it all in her stride. She adores working with children and made the whole experience effortless.

Sarah chose a beautiful location that was meaningful to me. As we have a young family, we really appreciated the flexibility around the time of the photoshoot.

The photos are beautiful and Sarah worked so well with our children to make the experience fun and she really captured their personalities (while getting them to smile!) Absolutely thrilled to have these wonderful photos and memories to cherish.

Sarah took our family Christmas pictures and we love them! We have a very excitable dog and a young baby and Sarah took some brilliant pictures. So many that we found it hard to choose our favourites!

The whole photoshoot was relaxed and fun. Sarah is a really lovely person and an excellent photographer and we would absolutely have her take our pictures again!
